BETAMATE™ 1486 is a one-component, heat-curing, epoxy-based adhesive especially developed for the body shop. It is capable of bonding all grades of automotive steel.
BETAMATE™ 1486 has low temperature cure in the e-coat oven, excellent low temperature impact performance, good processability and exceptional toughness for an epoxy adhesive at -40°C and at high rates of test speed. Typical applications include bonding of the vehicle body structure and closure hem flange applications.
