BETAMATE™ 1776LWR is a one-part, high performance, heat-curing, expandable, toughened epoxy reinforcer especially developed for the body shop.
BETAMATE™ 1776LWR us optimized for areas sensitive to bond line read through (BLRT). It is capable of bonding oily galvanized steel and aluminum.
BETAMATE™ 1776LWR exhibits robust adhesion to oily aluminum and steel substrates and compensates for metal separation during thermal loads.
BETAMATE™ 1776LWR has enhanced toughness performance with nominal expansion of 150% of its initial volume when exposed to body shop bake temperatures and is optimized to address read-through on class A surfaces.
BETAMATE™ 1776LWR provides excellent stiffening/reinforcing in body panels & structures.
BETAMATE™ 1776LWR is used for all structural stiffening/reinforcing applications in the body shop where additional energy absorption and possible elimination or down gauging of steel reinforcing members is desired. It can be used for areas where gaps need to be filled and areas where welding is difficult to access.
