BETAMATE™ 6160 is a one-component, heat-curing, epoxy-based adhesive especially developed for the body shop. It has excellent adhesion for metal substrate (aluminum and steel) applications.
BETAMATE™ 6160 has excellent adhesion for aluminum bonding with excellent stress durability, high sag resistance, high wash off resistance and exceptionally high -40°C peel strength. Typical applications include bonding of the vehicle body structure and closure hem flange applications.
