BONDERITE® C-IC MF (KNOWN AS DEOXALUME MF) is a granular, acid fluoride salt, used to deoxidize and to desmut aluminum castings after alkaline etching. It is also used to remove weld and heat treat scales from stainless steel and titanium, brighten heat-treated aluminum alloys and deoxidize anodizing rack tips. Magnesium alloys can be chemically activated prior to dichromate treatments. BONDERITE C-IC MF (KNOWN AS DEOXALUME MF) eliminates the use of hazardous hydrofluoric acid.
